An
artist working in abstract style until 1970, Omiros paints from this
date on, using a large variety of themes with his own expressionist
style and procedure (byzantine, mythologies, zodiacs, four seasons,
fashions, dances, and various sports) continuing nevertheless simultaneously
his abstract manner.
In his recent work (1996-1999) he adds
a new procedure of painting on canvases started by children as well
as different themes in one painting.
